Aihan Nasabilla

Berkat Ambon was contacted regarding Aihan Nasabilla, born in Ambon on June 4, 2024. According to the doctor's diagnosis, Aihan has a heart defect (leakage) and requires treatment outside of Ambon due to the limited medical equipment available locally. However, due to financial constraints, Aihan has not yet been able to travel for the necessary treatment.

Together with her dad, Gunawan (48 years old), who works as an online driver, and her mom, Joke Muniru (45 years old), a homemaker, their family, living in Nania Atas, deeply longs for their beloved child to receive further medical care. Update 2/10/25:

Previously, she was treated in the hospital, and the doctor recommended that Ai be referred to Jakarta for further treatment. However, due to the family's economic constraints, they have been unable to afford the necessary treatment and are currently only able to stay at home.

At this moment, Ai also requires milk, diapers, and other essentials. Let us come together in prayer and support for Ai’s healing and well-being.

Update 2/11/25:

Ade Aihan Nasabilla, a baby with a heart defect, has been admitted to the hospital again due to shortness of breath and a bluish discoloration of her body. Aihan should have already traveled to Jakarta for further treatment, but due to financial constraints, she is still waiting, relying on God’s mercy through the helping hands of those willing to assist. Berkat Ambon will help coordinate accommodation in Jakarta so that Aihan can receive the urgent heart treatment she needs.

Update 2/28/25: Aihan has received a scheduled date for surgery. Let us all pray that Jesus will guide the medical team handling Aihan, granting them wisdom and skill to carry out the procedure successfully. A consultation with the surgical team will be conducted to finalize the preparations, and Aihan will soon proceed to the cardiac surgery clinic for further steps.

Update 3/5/25:

Praise the Lord! The surgery schedule for Aihan has been confirmed, and Aihan is ready for surgery tomorrow.

We humbly ask for prayers from all, that the Lord Jesus will guide every step of Aihan’s surgery—granting wisdom and knowledge to the medical team handling the procedure. May Aihan return to Ambon in good health, continue to grow, and mature in the love of the Lord.

May Aihan’s parents, siblings, and all family members find strength, gratitude, and joy in this journey.

Update 3/13/25:

Praise the Lord, Aihan has regained consciousness since yesterday and today has been transferred to a recovery room. Thank you so much to all who have been praying and supporting Aihan's surgery and recovery process. The Lord Jesus hears all our prayers, and Aihan will return home in good condition.

Update 3/15/25: Praise the Lord, Aihan has returned home and will come back for follow-up visits. May the Lord Jesus help with all of Aihan's recovery process, and may he be allowed to return to Ambon soon to be with his father and siblings again. Update 4/8/25:

Ai had previously suffered from a heart defect and was in great pain. Due to the family's limited financial resources, they were unable to do much to seek treatment. She had to be referred to Jakarta for further care.

On February 20, Berkat Ambon helped Ai and her mother travel to Jakarta. In mid-March, she underwent heart surgery at a hospital in Jakarta, and the results were very satisfying. Berkat Ambon also provided donations to support her and her mother while they were in Jakarta.

Currently, Ai is still under the doctor’s care and follow-up. Let us continue to pray that she can return to Ambon soon in good health. For those who would like to help with Ai's return travel expenses, you can contact Messenger Berkat Ambon.

Update 4/15/25:

Thank You, Lord Jesus! Aihan’s echocardiogram results came back good, so he is now able to return to Ambon. If tickets are available, the plan is for Aihan to return this week. He will have a follow-up check-up in three months and can be done in Ambon later.

Update 4/18/25:

Thank you to all who have always prayed and supported Aihan. Thank you for the donations that were consistently given through Berkat Ambon, which helped meet Aihan's needs in Jakarta — including the tickets for Aihan and her mother to return to Ambon to reunite with her father and siblings. Even if it's just a little, when we share together, it will be enough to meet the needs of those in need.

Update 4/21/25:

Praise God! Aihan Nabila has now returned to Ambon and is going to the hospital today for another referral. The prayers of many can move heaven to help Aihan.
