Today, Berkat Ambon visited Deta Prasetya Sopacua (35 years old), who lives in Batu Gajah. We earnestly ask for your prayers so that God’s miracle may happen for Adit. Adit is married to Amel, and they have been blessed with three young children.
Around September 2024, Adit experienced high blood pressure, which led to a stroke and required brain surgery due to bleeding in his brain. Additionally, Adit’s kidneys are failing, requiring dialysis twice a week. Despite the challenges, an extraordinary testimony was shared by Adit’s wife, Amel, about how the Lord Jesus helped Adit when medical efforts could no longer provide a solution. Through Amel’s faith, the Lord breathed life into Adit.
Currently, Adit must visit the hospital twice weekly for dialysis. As the head of the family and sole breadwinner who can no longer work, the situation has been a heavy burden for Adit, as well as for Amel, who must care for him and their three young children. Their daily needs, including Adit’s diapers, transportation, food, and the children’s necessities, have added to their struggles.
Praise God that the church has provided temporary accommodation since their home is inaccessible by vehicle, and Adit is unable to walk. For those who feel moved to share their love and support with Adit and his family, please contact Berkat Ambon messenger. May God bless you all!
Update 1/19/25: Praise the Lord Jesus, we visited and brought donations to help with Adit's transportation to the hospital for dialysis twice a week. Adit is very eager to recover. Together with his wife and three children, we prayed for the mercy of the Lord Jesus. Many thanks to all the brothers and sisters who continually donate through Berkat Ambon, enabling us to share with those in need. If anyone wishes to support Brother Adit, you can contact Berkat Ambon's messenger.

Update 2/1/25: After undergoing multiple dialysis sessions and surgery, Adit’s condition has improved. However, during the last dialysis session, he experienced a drop in blood pressure to 87, causing a temporary health setback.
By God’s grace and mercy, Adit is still able to be with his beloved wife and three children.
For those who wish to share their support with Adit, you can reach out through Berkat Ambon's Messenger. We also ask for prayers for Adit and his family, that they may stay strong and healthy as they continue to support him. The Lord Jesus loves Adit and will always watch over and protect him, his wife, and their three children
Update 2/6/25:

Praise the Lord! Today, Adit underwent dialysis again. He has shown significant improvement—he is now able to speak again and communicate fluently. Adit suffers from hypertension, which led to a stroke and kidney problems, requiring him to undergo dialysis twice a week. As the head of the family and sole provider, his condition has prevented him from working. Despite these challenges, Adit, his wife, and their three beloved children remain steadfast in prayer, fully relying on Jesus Christ, who has miraculously sustained them.
The GBIS congregation continues to support them in prayer and has provided a place for Adit and his family. Berkat Ambon has been assisting with Adit’s transportation to the hospital for dialysis. A heartfelt thank you to all brothers and sisters who have donated through Berkat Ambon, enabling us to support patients in need. May the Lord Jesus protect, love, and bless us all.
Update 3/5/25:

Berkat Ambon visited, prayed for, and brought donations to support the care of Mr. Deta Praserya Sopacua. A while ago, Pak Adit suffered a stroke and is also experiencing kidney problems, requiring regular dialysis. He has a deep longing to have his own wheelchair, as he currently has to borrow one.
We trust that God will make a way for him to receive a wheelchair and healing so that he may regain his strength and be able to work again to provide for his family. Let’s continue to pray and support Pak Adit in his journey toward recovery.
Update 3/27/25:

After the HD (Hemodialysis) machine was removed, Adit was advised to return on April 7 for the reinstallation of the HD machine, but Adit believes that he no longer needs dialysis because the holy blood of Jesus has purified his blood. Adit’s current desire is to have a walker to help him practice walking. His wheelchair has also started to wear out, the tires are getting difficult to use, and the brakes no longer work. May the Lord Jesus open the way for Adit to get the needed walker and wheelchair. Adit longs to be able to walk and work again to support his family's economy. Since BPJS cannot be used for two procedures at once, Adit has chosen therapy to help him walk again. We all support Adit in prayer, and the prayer of a righteous person, when prayed with faith, is powerful.
Update 3/28/25:

Thank you NN for gifting a walker to help Adit be able to practice walking. Donations from Ambon also provided Adit with hypertension medication. My the Lord Jesus bless us all.
Update 3/31/25:

The supplements purchased for Adit were previously used and greatly helped in his health recovery. Because they had been consumed before, Adit felt the improvements, but due to financial limitations, he could no longer continue taking them. Today, we purchased some of these supplements due to some generous donation. Praise the Lord for his continous grace.
Update 4/4/25:

Today, Berkat Ambon delivered a donation to support Adhit’s transportation for tomorrow’s procedure to insert a new CDL. Praise the Lord—after consuming the herbal powder, volunteers witnessed a wonderful improvement: Adhit was able to lift his arm without assistance and hold it up for a long time. Even his leg, which had been difficult to move, can now be moved and lifted on his own.
Thank you so much, dear brothers and sisters, for your continued prayers and donations, which have made it possible to share love and care with patients in need. May the Lord Jesus love and bless us all abundantly.
Update 4/15/25:

Today, we visited and prayed for Adit Sopacua, a patient suffering from stroke and kidney issues. Adit is still undergoing dialysis, but he longs to stop the treatment because he feels tired and in pain.
Berkat Ambon brought herbal medicine, purchased with donations. It is only through the love and mercy of the Lord Jesus that Adit was able to receive all of this.
