Jeastin Jasky Lopulalan

Updated: Sep 28

We received a message and visit regarding Jeastin Jasky Lopulalan, born on January 30, 2007, a 12th-grade student. Since June, Jeastin has been experiencing stomach pain and difficulty with bowel movements. He was taken to the doctor and given laxatives, which made his bowel movements regular again. However, the stomach pain persisted, so he was taken to the doctor again, and a scan revealed a bowel constriction. Jeastin eventually underwent surgery, but after the operation, his intestines could not be completely closed, resulting in the need for a colostomy bag. Because the food he consumed continued to pass through his system, Jeastin's condition has worsened, leaving him weaker. According to the doctor, another procedure to reconnect (close the intestines) will only be possible in three months (October). Tomorrow, Jeastin will return for a follow-up appointment.

Jeastin lives with his mother, older sibling, and two younger siblings. His father recently passed away in July.

Jeastin's current needs include underpads, colostomy bags, wet and dry tissues, and sodium chloride 0.9% infusion fluids. Day by day, Jeastin's mother sells fried snacks, but due to Jeastin's illness, business has slowed down. The Lord Jesus loves Jeastin very much. By His stripes, the Lord Jesus has already healed and restored Jeastin. Many people's prayers will move heaven to take action. We pray and ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Update 9/25/24: Praise the Lord, Jeastin is now able to have bowel movements through the anus, even if just a little, and there is still some waste coming out through the colostomy bag. Berkat Ambon is providing nutrition to help strengthen Jeastin. He has had his follow-up appointment, and surgery is scheduled for October to close the open intestine. May the Lord Jesus help Jeastin, and may He grant wisdom to the medical team handling his care.
