Kiran Lubis

Updated: Oct 4

We received information from the parents of Kiran Lubis, born in Desa Kawa, SBB, on November 11, 2012. Volunteers of Berkat Ambon visited and gathered information. Kiran is currently being treated in Ambon due to an ear infection, with two ruptured layers. The doctor recommended immediate surgery, but it cannot be done in Ambon. Kiran must go to Makassar or Jakarta for the procedure. The pain Kiran is experiencing affects his eyes and head, making it difficult for him to sleep.

Kiran's father, Abidin Lubis, is 48 years old and works as a fisherman, while his mother, Wa Yati, is 44 years old and a housewife. The family holds great hope that the surgery will heal Kiran. When the ear pain flares up, it spreads to his eyes and head, causing immense suffering and pain for Kiran.

Lord Jesus, please help Kiran. May our prayers bring a miracle for him. The family is in need of financial support for tickets to Makassar or Jakarta, as well as other necessities. For those willing to help Kiran, may God bless you.

Update 9/13/24: We are in an urgent need for 2 bags of blood type A. Kiran has completed surgery. The initial plan was to transfer Kiran to Makassar or Jakarta, but praise God, the surgery is already done. Right now, Kiran is in urgent need of 2 bags of A blood. Brothers and sisters who wish to help Kiran can go directly to the Red Cross. The letter for Kiran's blood requirement is already at the Red Cross. Lord Jesus, please help Kiran, and may the Holy Blood of Jesus fulfill all of Kiran's blood needs.

Update 9/24/24: Praise the Lord, Kiran has successfully undergone surgery and will return for a follow-up in two days. Kiran, the sweet girl who, since childhood, had a habit of picking her ears, which eventually caused pain that spread to her eyes and head, even leading to fluid discharge from her head, seizures, and a critical condition. But today, we are so happy to see Kiran in a completely different state of health.

Thank you so much, Lord Jesus, for Your blood and wounds that have healed Kiran, and thank you to all the brothers and sisters who have continually supported her in prayer.

Update 10/4/24: Praise the Lord! Kiran has successfully completed the surgery and has been allowed to go home. Tomorrow morning, Kiran and his mother plan to return to their village in Kawa, and she can continue going to school.
