Mestry A. Pattinama

Updated: Apr 15

We received information, and the Berkat Ambon volunteers immediately visited Ms. Mestry A. Pattinama, a 32-year-old woman who has been paralyzed since the age of 5. Currently, Ms. Mestry is also experiencing shortness of breath and acid reflux.

For a long time, Ms. Mestry has longed to have a wheelchair so she can sit comfortably, reduce her pain, and visit a doctor to address her breathing issues and acid reflux. However, her family's economic limitations have made this difficult, as her parents are only public transportation drivers. We kindly ask for your support and assistance to help provide a wheelchair for Ms. Mestry. For those who wish to help Ms. Mestry and our ministry, you can contact the Berkat Ambon messenger.

Update 12/19/24:

Praise the Lord! The desire of Ms. Mestry Pattinama to have a wheelchair has now been fulfilled. The wheelchair is a donation from a kind gentleman who had a wheelchair in excellent condition but no longer used it. Volunteers from Berkat Ambon visited and delivered the wheelchair. Ms. Mestry can now move more comfortably and freely.

She has been paralyzed since 2005 and often experiences shortness of breath. She also hopes to undergo an examination and treatment to address the cause of her breathing difficulties. Let us pray for Ms. Mestry's recovery. For God, nothing is impossible. For those who wish to help and support our ministry, please contact Berkat Ambon via Messenger. May the Lord Jesus bless you!

Update 4/11/25: Volunteers from Berkat Ambon have once again visited and brought donations such as rice, milk, and other necessities for Ms. Mestry Pattinama, 33 years old. Since 2005, Ms. Mestry has suffered from paralysis, shortness of breath, acid reflux, and headaches, preventing her from living a normal life. With the wheelchair, Ms. Mestry can now move around freely—something she couldn’t do before, as she was confined to her bed. However, sitting on a chair still causes her back pain. Let us pray for Ms. Mestry’s health and recovery, because with God, nothing is impossible.

A Prayer for Hope: Lord, I maintain my hope in You and I hold onto the assurance that You are my Rock and my Refuge who bends His ear when the afflicted call out Your Name. As David prayed in Psalm 18:1: “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
