Putry Rikumahu is a 9-year-old girl from the village of Suli Banda. While helping her mother pick vegetables in the garden, Putry fell into a hole, resulting in a broken leg. Putry’s father, Lekxy Rikumahu, 45 years old, is a farmer, and her mother, Desy Rikumahu, 40 years old, also works as a farmer.
At the moment, Putry’s BPJS (health insurance) is not active, and her heartfelt wish is to recover so that she can walk normally again. To those who want to help Putry so she can undergo surgery again, please contact us through Messenger or email.
Jesus will surely help Putry; keep praying and relying on Him, and doors will open.
Update 10/23/24: During today’s visit, we also learned that Putry’s father, Mr. Lexi Rikumahu, is also unwell and facing financial constraints to seek medical treatment. Mr. Lexi has been suffering from large red spots that appear during work, making it difficult for him to move his entire body. He has endured this condition for approximately ten years without treatment due to financial limitations. He also suffers from pain in his shin, preventing him from working, and his wife currently supports the family through farming. The family has BPJS health insurance but struggles with transportation costs.
After our visit, Berkat Ambon is committed to assisting both Mr. Lexi and Putry in proceeding with the necessary medical care and the leg surgery. If God permits, everything will be prepared in His miraculous way. Brothers and sisters who feel called to help the Rikumahu family can reach out via Berkat Ambon Messenger.
